Overview

Medical Office Administration Instructor -ONSITE

This position will be Monday-Thursday, 7:30am - 1:30 on campus

As an Online Medical Office Administration Instructor at Concorde Career College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include instructing classes, preparing engaging lesson plans, and objectively assessing student performance. Additionally, you will maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with academic policies.

Responsibilities

Instructional Duties:

* Instruct classes in online settings.
* Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and course materials.
* Assess student academic performance objectively.
* Utilize instructional plans effectively.
* Ensure security and confidentiality of assessment tools and documentation.
* Monitor and utilize the learning management systems efficiently.

Student Interaction:

* Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
* Serve as a role model for professionalism and conduct.
* Provide regular, constructive feedback to students.
* Address attendance, academic, and behavioral concerns
* Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
* Facilitate tutoring and makeup work as needed.
* Adhere to campus policies and procedures.

Related Duties, Outside the Classroom:

* Participate in faculty and professional development activities.
* Attend workshops, seminars, and meetings.
* Assist with graduation ceremonies and campus activities.
* Support inventory management and equipment maintenance
* Maintain a positive campus culture.
* Assist with student recognition and clinical site visits.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Minimum of three years of related practical work experience
* Associate degree preferred.
* Experience with Medicaid/Medicare claims, scheduling, patient accounts, and patient billing
* Coding experience, CPC or AAPC preferred.
* Prior teaching and management experience preferred.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
