OverviewThe cloud has transformed many businesses with the power of Azure that spans across the globe, and the expectations for reliability will only increase as more and more customers adopt the cloud for their critical workloads. In the Azure Core team, we focus on building solutions that drive efficiencies in our backend development processes for the Azure Cloud. We aim to revolutionize how we can improve code quality and service reliability across the critical Azure service teams with our cutting-edge AI capabilities and Copilot solutions.As a Senior Software Engineer in Azure Core, you will be a technical thought leader to drive building top-notch quality solutions in Azure, and will need to have a deep passion and experience with data and managing large data pipelines to help transform how we capture and report on things like carbon emissions for 1st and 3rd party customers in Azure. By leveraging existing backend solutions and building out new integrations into customer facing Azure solutions, you will find ways to improve quality and scale out our important solutions that are used by some of the biggest companies across the globe. With a focus on organizing, querying and developing performant data pipelines, you will need to combine this data with large, scalable microservice technologies to build out APIs and integrations into our Azure services such as Azure Carbon Optimization. This role will help organizations better measure and minimize the carbon impact of their Azure footprint. ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the team, you will use your social skills to collaborate with internal developers and service team leadership.You will design, build, test, debug and help ship quality solutions that contribute to improving the reporting and organization of key data for carbon emissions in Azure, while finding ways to optimize existing solutions and proposing new approaches.Build upon existing solutions to ensure Azure is the most reliable cloud for customers to build their solutions on.Work with service teams to get feedback on proposed solutions the team builds, and implement the feedback in a timely manner.Solve complex problems that allow for finding areas of efficiency across working with various large data sources, while increasing reliability for existing and future integrations across customer facing Azure Services.Provide technical support for existing internal and external customersYou will be an active participant in a community of creativity, inclusion, and respect.Other * Embody our culture and values |
