Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) Specialist

These positions will be responsible for the implementation and daily oversight of the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) software for the Quality Control (QC) laboratories.

Job duties:



  • Digitize laboratory analytical methods into the ELN system.
  • Act as an ELN "super user" for the QC laboratory.
  • Maintain processes to ensure proper use and maintenance of the QC laboratory ELN


Required qualifications:



  • B.S. in chemistry or similar field.
  • Three or more (3+) years experience working in cGMP analytical laboratories.
  • Hands-on end user experience (i.e., system administrator or Super User on LIMS, Empower, ELN etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. (Once trained, can work independently to develop test method within the ELN, perform user requested upgrades/enhancements and continuous improvement projects with minimal oversight.)
  • Ability to perform in a highly matrixed organization structure.
  • Possess Expertise on understanding of cGMPs.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting GMP systems and applications in lab environments. This includes instrument software applications.
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative solution with regards to compliance.
  • Broad understanding of analytical test methods using laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to learning and perform analytical testing methods when required or when time permits.
