***This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. ***

The Program Analyst II is responsible for technical oversight in either physical or technical security programs; high-level technical expertise; and participation in briefings and meetings. Frequently provide subject matter or functional area expertise in performing technical tasks.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Program Analyst II Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides advice and guidance to officials on program planning, programming, and contract management activities.
  • Develops, recommends, and provides interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Plans, organizes, and assists with contract actions.
  • Provides assistance, advice, and guidance in all aspects of the contracting process.
  • Establishes and maintains liaison and serving as the focal point for the coordination and communication with appropriate offices, overseas posts, and interested foreign affairs and intelligence agencies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Program Analyst II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred), or 6 (six) to 10 (ten) years of experience
  • Two years as a Program Analyst II or equivalent experience.
  • Experience identifying complex cross cutting areas of program requirements and needs in order to address significant organizational concerns.
  • Able to provide advice and preparing and presenting controversial reports on the program's status to senior management officials.
  • Skilled at applying various laws, regulations, policies and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources.
  • Knowledgeable in conducting detailed analyses of functions and work processes; and presenting recommendations for improvements and corrective action.
  • Must be proficient in current Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint programs.
  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a minimum a SECRET clearance; (higher clearance may be required depending on position to be filled).
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
