Position Summary: The Planning Assistant provides basic support to the planning team through data entry, invoice submissions and assisting with inventory review tasks. This role ensures data accuracy and helps the team with day-to-day planning activities.This position is part time. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) * Review invoices, cross-check them against purchase orders, and submit them for payment processing. * Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for invoice submissions. * Communicate with internal teams, including product development, planning and accounting, regarding invoice discrepancies. * Accurately input and update planning item data into the ERP system. * Provide general support to the team with administrative tasks and projects. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications
Education and Experience: * Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) and proven Microsoft Office skills. Special Requirements: * Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs. Location: Aurora, NY area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines. * Excellent attention to detail. * Ability to read and interpret paperwork. * Maintain consistent, dependable attendance * Clear and concise customer communication * Ability to problem solve and think outside the box * Ability to work with others in a team setting Equipment Used: Computer, printer, scanner, telephone, and photocopier. Physical and Mental Requirements: * Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists. * Light mental and visual attention is required for performing work where there is some variety, but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. Environmental Conditions: Work is performed in a typical office work environment.
