Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the Government organizations that develop these systems. Qualifications
VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared SME 5 Minimum Qualifications: Education:
- BS degree in Management, Project Management, Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
Experience:
- Eighteen (18) years of hands-on experience with supporting signals intelligence operations to include three (3) of the following five (5)areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively complex experience in software engineering, encompassing computer simulation, enterprise architecture, advanced networking techniques and protocols, programming languages, and operating systems with a focus on establishing technology product specifications.
- At least 10 years of direct work experience with Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems and/or Distributed Command Ground System (DCGS).
- 8 years of direct work experience in design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of ISR or DCGS systems.
- 5 years of experience in leadership roles managing ISR or DCGS projects, which include supervising project personnel, scheduling work, and experience in ordering equipment and materials.
- TS/SCI level Clearance required.
Additional Qualifications Required:
- Proven expertise in developing project plans, milestones, budgets, schedules, and conducting program reviews related to contract task orders.
- Experienced in conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to contract task performance.
- Strong abilities in monitoring technical performance, cost, and schedule based on program requirements.
- Proficient in analyzing and managing cost and schedule performance.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures; strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this management role.
- Experience in one or more of the following engineering disciplines is required: Research and Development, Software Engineering, Equipment and Material Support, System or Software Integration, Test and Evaluation, Logistics Support, Program Office Liaison Support, Technical Documentation Development, Cybersecurity.
Job Description: VNE is seeking a Software Lead to oversee projects related to the research & development, testing, evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs. The Software Lead will ensure that the software engineering processes, and project management practices align with the strategic objectives of the organization while meeting the needs of increasingly complex systems requirements and technologies. This role will involve collaboration across multiple disciplines to foster innovation and efficiency in delivering software solutions that support mission-critical goals. Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
