Position Title: Assembler - Class 3
Wage: $20.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Assembler at a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Assembler Responsibilities: - Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipment - Assemble or modify electronic equipment, position, align and adjust work pieces and electronic parts to facilitate wiring assembly - Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during and/or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards - Set up jobs and fill out paperwork for production - Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas - Identify and pick out various sizes of wire for production Requirements for Assembler: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years of related assembly experience - IPC Certification - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers - Advanced soldering and crimping skills - Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment - Knowledge of crimping machine and changing of dies in bench top crimper - Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules - Good time management skills - Able to read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions - Able to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids - Able to occasionally lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds greenfield@qpsemployment.com IND104 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
