Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing has been the leader in nursing education in North Carolina throughout its history. Position Summary |
The primary purpose of this position is to administer and coordinate a variety of fiscal functions for the Office of Administrative Services (
OAS). The position oversees the full-cycle processing of financial forms prepared by
SON faculty/staff, preparing them for payment by the University accounting office. The administration of non-personnel funds on state, F&A, trust and receipt-supported accounts are also a responsibility of the position. This position requires the incumbent to give great attention to detail and have knowledge of budgeting policies. The position will train new Nursing School state/trust accounting personnel on internal/external accounting procedures. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of training and experience. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
The individual in this position must possess strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, and pay close attention to detail. A thorough knowledge of Word and Excel is essential (Access is a plus.) |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Prefer experience with Connect Carolina and Infoporte. |
