Our Global Security team is looking for a Protective Services Leader with deep expertise in executive protection, event security, and protective intelligence. This individual will lead a comprehensive protective services program for Ecolab's C-suite executives, board members, and other key individuals-ensuring their safety across all environments, from corporate campuses to global travel. What You Will Do:
Design and lead a global executive protection strategy aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance. Serve as the primary advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all executive travel and security matters. Oversee executive protection operations including threat assessments, travel and residential security, event security, and emergency response planning. Develop and implement a strategic event security program in collaboration with the experiential marketing team. Lead a protective intelligence program using open-source and other intelligence methods to proactively identify and mitigate threats. Manage vendor relationships for security services and intelligence, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee the travel security and duty of care program in partnership with preferred vendors. Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and program effectiveness to senior leadership. Manage a team of internal and contracted security professionals and oversee the protective services budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, International Relations, Law, or related field. 15 years of experience in protective security, including 5 years in a leadership role within a Fortune 500 company. 10 years of experience implementing executive protection and corporate event security programs. 10 years of experience conducting security operations in both domestic and international, low- and high-risk environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present at the C-suite level. Ability to respond to security events and escalations 24/7 as needed. Immigration sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business administration or leadership. Professional security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP). Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, or other major dialects. Basic or advanced medical training (e.g., EMR certification). Experience with corporate aircraft and TSA regulations. 4 years of experience as a licensed peace officer or military police. Eligibility for Armed Security Officer (ASO) certification under the DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSP).
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $117,200.00 - $175,800.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
