Position is responsible for supporting, planning and executing internal and external programs for the Meetings & Events Team that facilitate desired business objectives and outcomes. Professional should be self-motivated and capability of coordinating program logistics in a fast-paced environment. The MET associate should have a love for meeting management, provide outstanding customer service and be an enthusiastic professional.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works with MET team members and internal business partners to understand program goals and objectives and facilitate supporting meeting strategy and execution.
  • Assists with coordinating venue site searches, reviews venue proposals and works with team to identify best options based on cost effectiveness, best service and value.
  • Assists with planning of all event logistics including, but not limited to: hotel room blocks, sourcing, food & beverage, audio visual equipment, entertainment, ground transportation, event signage/graphic needs and decor.
  • Researches and plans off-site program activities such as dinners, cruises, golf outings, etc.
  • Supports post event reconciliation to include final venue billing, vendor invoices, attendee reports and program budget.
  • Travel to programs as needed to provide onsite support and execution.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to travel
  • Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Required
  • Cvent software experience
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
  • Pleasant demeanor and ability to build relationships with colleagues and external vendors.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience planning meetings and events

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $61,400 - $101,800

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
