Recently awarded state contract with Medicaid. Need additional help to support increased workload. Supporting full time staff for community outreach. Will physically attend the events. Will assist setting up resource table, pass out education materials, help with giveaways. Extra Notes: o Maintain positive relationship in the community including providers, members and prospects o Contribute to the attainment of member growth goals o Identify and develop relationships with new community contacts and organizations to pursue outreach engagements o Develop and implement promotional plan for new outreach opportunities o Attend community and health events to distribute Health Plan information o Support manager with scheduling and delivery of health education presentations o Organize Health Plan staff and other resources in the participation and the support of select community events and activities o Distribute written material to customers who call in and request o Support Health Plan sponsored programs in schools Summary: The Community Relations Specialist is responsible for leading activities to achieve membership/enrollment goals through various means including but not limited to marketing projects and new market initiatives health fairs and community activities training member retention activities sales visibility and business broker provider market lead generation vendor outreach and networking opportunities. This position may also research and assess market and business opportunities. Job Responsibilities: Plans develop coordinates collaborates and conducts events including but not limited to meetings presentations activities training product orientations focus groups field marketing events projects etc. Develops and maintain business relationships and information that will result in opportunities to increase membership/enrollment targets. Represents the department at internal and external meetings including but not limited to vendor reporting departmental cross-functional community provider etc. Develops presentations including but not limited to sales broker product training member retention meetings new member training outreach activities etc. Acts as department liaison for market materials collateral rollouts inventory reports etc. Acts as point person on key projects. Works with management to develop department workflow policy and procedure documentation for strategy and planning and for reviewing product collaterals and sales strategies. Prospects and initiates opportunities for field marketing events grassroots lead generation provider co-op events other community venues etc. Coordinates with sales team for successful market execution. May develop plans to increase crossover enrollment. May assist in outreach activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing business administration or related field0-2 years of experience *Experience Level* Intermediate Level/ Graduate *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
