Apex is seeking an Ergonomics Program Manager to be based in Seattle, WA.

Your Responsibilities as an Ergonomics Program Manager:



  • Manage a diverse portfolio of ergonomics consulting projects and contracts across office, industrial, and field environments.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of a national ergonomics business growth strategy with existing and future clients.
  • Support national clients with onsite and remote ergonomic assessments, program development, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Write and review technical assessments, reports, and client proposals.
  • Create and deliver presentations and materials to clients and internal teams showing evidence based best practice.
  • Hire and oversee subcontractors when needed.
  • Mentor and train scientific and technical staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Seattle region and nationally.
  • Lead a team of ergonomics professionals located across multiple regional offices.
  • Promote and ensure the safe execution of project work.
  • Actively engage in your own professional development and career growth.

Minimum Requirements:

What we're looking for:



  • BA/BS in Ergonomics, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Therapy or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in the environmental health and safety consulting industry.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a lead ergonomics practitioner with a track record of managing regional and national projects.
  • Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) preferred, but not required.
  • Strong skills in proposal writing, budgeting, and technical reporting.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior professionals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional technical communication and detail orientation.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and ergonomic risk mitigation.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Seattle area.


Annual Expected Pay Range
$100,000 $130,000 USD
