**This is a hybrid position, requiring up to two days per week onsite at the Chandler office.

The Transcript Administrator position is a full-time position supporting the University of Arizona Global Campus Office of the Registrar. Reporting to the Transfer Records Manager, the Transcript Administrator is responsible for working with a team towards the completion of student files in the admissions student lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for reviewing student applications and cross - referencing National Student Clearinghouse updating the Transcript Management System, and requesting transcripts from previous institutions.

  • Responsible for contacting previous institutions for status update on transcript requests.

  • Responsible for communicating with students and their prior institutions to ensure receipt of transcript/documents for admission requirements.

  • Responsible for moderate/high level of incoming and outgoing phone calls with students, internal departments and external institutions.

  • Experience de-escalating customer concerns, while providing support and conflict resolution to student concerns.

  • Responsible for high volume incoming and outgoing student email communication.

  • Responsible for accurately and efficiently reviewing all transcript/documents in student file.

  • Responsible for processing outgoing UAGC transcripts and processing transcript requests.

  • Any other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to maintain and update Excel spreadsheets.

  • Experience using Microsoft Word to edit and customize content/documents.

  • Strong organizational skills, track record of success while multi-tasking.

  • Focusing on attention to detail.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong customer service experience/skills.

  • Utilize multiple systems to access, manage, and complete daily workload assignments.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required.

  • Prior work experience not required.

Rate of Pay: $16.50 - $18.75

Compensation Type: Hourly at 1.0 full-time equivalence (FTE)

The Rate of Pay Field represents the University of Arizona's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The grade range for this position is $16.50 - $18.75. Each unit typically sets starting pay between the minimum and midpoint upon hire as reflected in the Rate of Pay field above.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report:

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
