The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor maintains accountability of all Emergency Operations Center Technicians. Duties and responsibilities include complying with all instructions and directions provided by the USG COR, which includes maintaining a DA Form 1594, Daily Staff Journal or Duty Officer's Log of all occurrences during the 24-hour shift, reacting to and reporting Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIRS), Serious Incident Reports (SIRs), or Other Reportable Incidents (ORIs), and assisting in managing and directing forces to respond to incidents IAW the battle drills.

Responsibilities

  1. The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor is required to pass an annual Physical Ability Test per AR 190-56.
  2. The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor shall monitor off-camp operations, including conducting radio checks at every checkpoint along designated route, and tracking the operation.
  3. The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor, in conjunction with the USG, shall monitor and operate the WAVES system, SIPR and NIPR computers for receiving and reporting information, various radio systems, and office automation equipment.
  4. The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor shall be familiar with regulations, ASG-KU Command policies, higher Army HQs orders and directives.
  5. The Emergency Operations Center Supervisor shall answer phones within the Operations Centers and take the appropriate actions, notifying the appropriate personnel, and maintaining accountability of all equipment at all times.

Qualifications

  1. U.S. Citizen - must have and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.
  2. Must possess Military background of not less than four (4) years. Must have received an honorable discharge and shall provide evidence of honorable discharge (form DD356) or release from active duty with honorable character of service (form DD-214) (U.S. Military) or comparable document from other FVEY military forces.
  3. Prior experience as officer, warrant officer or senior non-commissioned officer (E-7 or higher) or team leader in armed forces, police, or private security company in a contingency area.
  4. Must have demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite software to include Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer

Shall demonstrate a fluency in English equivalency of a level 2+ based on the Interagency Language Roundtable
