Position Overview

BLUEHAWK is seeking a cleared Data Scientist / AI Tools Developer to support the development and deployment of advanced AI and data science solutions within the Intelligence Community. This individual will work closely with mission analysts and technologists to design and implement AI-enabled tools that enhance analytic capabilities, particularly in support of geospatial and multi-INT missions.

The role requires a hands-on Python developer with experience in AI tool development and the ability to work in a secure, on-site environment.



Responsibilities

    Develop and deploy AI/ML-based tools in support of intelligence analysis
  • Leverage Python to automate workflows, extract insights, and integrate AI functionality
  • Support efforts related to LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agent development, prompt engineering, and natural language processing (NLP)
  • Collaborate with analysts and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into functional prototypes and production tools
  • Integrate AI solutions into operational software and platforms
  • Adapt to changing mission needs and learn new tools and technologies as required
  • Provide occasional support to remote teams, including those based at NGA Washington


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, with willingness to take a CI polygraph
  • Ability to work on-site 40 hours per week (telework is minimal)
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience developing or integrating AI tools or applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across intelligence domains such as SIGINT, OSINT, ELINT, GEOINT, MASINT, HUMINT
  • Familiarity with geospatial and analysis tools including JEMA, Brewlytics, and ArcPro
  • Understanding of GEOINT collection, NGA, and NRO systems
  • Proficiency in additional languages: R, SQL, HTML, JavaScript
  • Experience analyzing geospatially enabled data
  • Experience deploying AI tools into operational environments
  • Familiarity with tools and methods including LLMs, RAG, NLP, and prompt engineering
  • Strong adaptability and the ability to learn new technologies in a dynamic mission environment
