PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON ITS BEING AWARDED TO THE CONTRACT. HIRING AND FILLING THE POSITION MAY NOT HAPPEN UNTIL A LATER DATE, IF AT ALL.

THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE ONLY AT FORT HUACHUCA, AZ. THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITY FOR REMOTE WORK.

Job Summary:

Provide support to occupy the Visitor Control desk.

This office will be occupied during the duty week. Attendance "on site" is considered essential.

Regular hours will be between Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. This is a 9/80 work schedule allowing for every other Friday off. Punctuality and regular attendance are required. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours and workdays to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

The employee must always demonstrate professional behavior when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Employee must maintain a positive work atmosphere by welcoming all personnel and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Check Drop Box for returned badges

The Contractor shall be responsible for initialing logbook, checking portal for badge return request, removing extra access, reviewing visitor badges and securing the security container.

Check DISS to ensure proper clearance and access levels of Visitors

Monitor email for employee updates

The Contractor shall be responsible for creating/updating Contractor employee database. Service employees in DISS for clearance upgrades, update master Contractor roster, update velocity and print badge overlay, and email employee/Human Resources for badge update.

Check Security Portal for Access Requests

Monthly and Yearly Badge Inventory- The Contractor shall be responsible for checking all Visitor logs for assigned badges, verify missing badges and contact Visitors to attempt badge return, if badge is not returned or is considered missing, reprint badge

Email all POCs for updated VARs for long term visitors.

The Contractor shall be responsible for inputting Visitor Access Requests (VAR) data into database. Print VARs in the event the internet or share drive access drops and archive expired Vars'

Educational/Training Requirements:

High School Diploma and 5 years' experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Computer experience required, including Microsoft (MS) Office suite: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

Required Skills/Experience:

Able to obtain and maintain proper minimal security clearance from DoD

Work Environment:

Work involves an inside office environment/cubicle. (Considerations: closed quarters, close together, limited lighting). Must be able to commute between facilities to support work requirements. Employees are required to be able to work well with co-workers, customers, and all levels of management.

Physical Demands:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to, bending, reaching, turning, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner
