At Pregis, we're looking for skilled and reliable Converting Operators to help us meet demand and uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency on both 1st and 2nd shifts. General Purpose of the Role The Converting Operator - Tier Four is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring products meet performance and quality standards while keeping operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate converting machinery per production and safety specs Perform machine startup, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting Monitor machine operations to maintain consistent output and product quality Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance Adjust machine settings as needed for optimal performance Maintain a clean and organized work area Operate material handling equipment (electric pallet jacks, roll lifts, hoists) Complete production logs and document machine issues Perform quality checks according to Pregis Quality Management System Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies Other duties as assigned Education & Experience High School diploma or GED preferred 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Proven machine operating experience and mechanical aptitude Key Qualifications Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and safety practices Basic math and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Solid work ethic and dependable attendance Why Join Pregis?
