What to Expect
This role focuses on defining, driving, and implementing program requirements for interior systems and components from concept to mass production and sustaining across Tesla factory locations in Fremont, Shanghai, and Berlin. The Program Manager will derive workflows, timelines, communication channels, risk assessments, and mitigation plans while identifying critical paths and resolving issues during the launch and validation phases. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Design Studio, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, NPI, Production, and Service is essential to establish a new program cadence and ensure successful global implementation.
What You'll Do
- Define and drive program requirements, workflows, and timelines for interior systems from concept to mass production
- Collaborate with suppliers to align their timelines with program deliverables and manage engineering changes impacting cost and timing
- Establish a roadmap to support the launch of new features and functionality in the product lineup
- Lead global pilot launches by building cross-functional partnerships and driving results across the organization
- Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and provide actionable solutions to ensure program readiness and timely delivery
- Document milestones, monitor schedules, and update program plans to maintain accurate progress tracking
- Support Tesla test engineering teams and suppliers to execute DVP plans and ensure timely validation of systems and components
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development, ideally with multiple delivered products in medium-to-high volume industries
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working in a highly cross-functional environment
- Experience in fast-paced settings with end-to-end product deployment from concept through successful launch
- Knowledge of seating, interiors, and vehicle architectures with familiarity in BOM, 3DX PLM, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage diverse teams and work cross-functionally with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management and communication tools such as Confluence, Jira, and scheduling software

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
