Job Description:

The opportunity:

The Project Manager leads business and technology projects that support strategic goals, value delivery, or compliance/regulatory requirements. This role's primary responsibility is to work with business leaders, IT, and subject matter experts to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and positioned for success, consistent with DQ PMO guidelines, processes, and business or client expectations.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead medium to large-scale project initiatives that include multiple deliverables.

  • Act as a key contact with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and that the timeline and deliverables stay on target.

  • Develop and manage strategy and discovery sessions with stakeholders and team members to identify actionable business and technology solutions.

  • Seek input from key stakeholders on requirements, leveraging this information to effectively lead and manage the project team and deliverables to successful outcomes.

  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.

  • Identify issues and risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive open items to closure.

  • Understand and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations with subject matter experts; continually manage expectations and escalate when they are not met.

  • Lead and attend meetings with internal and external customers in a professional and polished manner, adhering to company policies.

  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the project's success.

  • Provide clear and concise documentation representing key business decisions and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.

  • Gather information and facilitate retrospectives; use the outcome of the lessons learned to improve processes within PMO methodology, and with business stakeholders.

  • Ensure all deliverables are completed and aligned with the project's requirements, quality expectations, and success metrics.

  • Other duties as needed or required.

What you will bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project management or client liaison role.

  • Ability to lead and manage resources that do not have a direct reporting relationship.

  • Ability to embrace change and positively influence change in a dynamic working environment.

  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to manage business-related discussions, influence key stakeholders, and drive leaders toward decisions.

  • Skilled in issue management, risk identification, and risk reduction & mitigation.

  • Outstanding listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of project budget management

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to initiate and drive changes in process, methodology, and other project management-related areas.

  • Demonstrated use of sound and proven project management practices and tools, including MS Office, Smartsheet, Jira, SharePoint, and other tools.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance preferred

Salary:

Salary Range: $85,400 - $128,100

Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to your base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on your individual performance as well as the overall performance of the business.
