SCOPE/CONTACTS:

As part of the Information Security Team, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the Corporate Information Security Office. This includes supporting security awareness initiatives, information security technologies, incident response, phishing campaigns, and governance projects. Additionally, the Senior Security Analyst will work closely with the Security Operations Center to integrate network technologies with the Information Security program and provide advice and support, as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Security Program Design & Advisory
    Provide expert guidance on the design and implementation of information security systems and the overall security program to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Incident Response & Investigation
    Lead investigations into information security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of findings and remediation efforts.
  • Documentation & Program Maintenance
    Maintain and continuously improve security program documentation, policies, and procedures to reflect evolving threats and compliance requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Support
    Serve as a subject matter expert to business units and IT teams, ensuring that security objectives and controls are effectively integrated into operations and technology initiatives.
  • Security Awareness & Training
    Develop and deliver engaging security awareness materials, presentations, and training sessions to promote a culture of security across the organization.
  • Complex Problem Solving
    Analyze and resolve complex security challenges, often requiring innovative solutions where standard approaches may not apply.
  • Threat Intelligence & Reporting
    Conduct research and produce detailed assessments of emerging cyber threats affecting infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and sensitive data.
  • Secure Technology Integration
    Provide security expertise during the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure, applications, and SaaS solutions to ensure secure design and deployment.
  • Access Governance
    Manage and enhance the User Access Review Program to ensure appropriate access controls and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizational Culture & Compliance
    Actively contribute to the Customer Service First culture, uphold organizational values, and adhere to all established policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and professional certification in an information security discipline. (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA)
  • Five to eight years of experience in a technology services environment where operations responsibilities are required.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, facilitation, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities in a very fast paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Self-motived and self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to determine a course of action and carry it out.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, dependability, and thoroughness in meeting responsibilities, and willingness to seek out and accept responsibilities.
  • Strong personal computer and personal computer software knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity required.
  • Knowledge of the information security requirement established by the Graham-Leach-Bliley Act and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Professional demeanor is essential.
