POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for leading housekeeping services staff in supervisor's absence to provide housekeeping and high level of cleanliness to General Office, Harrison Shop, Service Center and Hanger.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist manager in scheduling and assigning duties, including but not limited to, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning and stocking restroom and break room consumables

Assist manager to ensure all employees have appropriate tools, supplies and skills to effectively carry out their duties

Assist manager in monitoring equipment use and maintenance to ensure all equipment is in safe, clean and proper working condition

Clean and disinfect restrooms, stockrooms and break rooms

Clean all areas of the General Office facilities, including but not limited to, private offices, department work spaces, halls, entry ways and out buildings

Operate various floor equipment in order to maintain all floor surfaces

Track usage of and inventory of supplies; order supplies and disperse among supply areas

Mentor, develop and cross-train employees in their performance of housekeeping functions, as directed

Lead scheduled mid-shifts in absence of manager

Maintain communication on a daily basis with manager and assist with data analysis, planning, forecasting and scheduling

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) months housekeeping experience
  • Must be professional in interaction with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing processes/procedures and follow strict cleaning and disinfecting instructions/guidelines
  • Good leadership skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to make independent decisions
  • Must be team oriented and able to handle conflict professionally
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat and pull/push housekeeping equipment throughout shift
  • Valid driver's license may be required depending on work assignment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to stand or walk for eight hours and do light lifting (such as stock and/or backpack vacuums-20 to 50 lbs) consistently
  • Exposure to climate conditions of the geographic area
  • Exposure to hot and cold soapy water, chemicals, dust, tobacco waste or other irritants
  • Hours may vary due to operational need
