What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, health administration, nursing or related field. Preferred: Master's Degree in nursing, leadership or business administration
- License: None; Preferred: Active State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Certifications: AMB-BC (Ambulatory Care Nurse-Board Certified); Nursing Leadership Certification (ex: CNML, NE-BC, CENP)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of management experience
- Working knowledge of government regulations and healthcare best practices
- Budgeting and fiscal management skills
What you will do:
- Functions as a liaison between the Medical Group practices and ANC department. 10%
- Utilizes process improvement methodologies and change management strategies to implement, review, analyze and refine workflows and processes across the ANC regions. Ensures effective integration and education of new programs, systems, and technologies to front-line staff. 10%
- Drives process improvement by tracking and analyzing performance metrics related to productivity and patient experience and shares data with key stakeholders. Recommends improvements to streamline business and operational processes. 10%
- Supports department budgets in collaboration with ANC program director. 5%
- Collaborates with direct reports on recruitment, new hire onboarding competency. Ensures all staff maintain ongoing education and appropriate licensure and credentialing.
- Recommends and implements approved recognition programs and motivational initiatives to increase retention. 10%
- Provides overall supervision of team representatives to effectively meet or exceed productivity goals as established by ANC leadership. Plans, organizes, monitors and responsible for the daily operations of the ANC triage and MPAR. Monitors triage, medication refill and prior authorization compliance with customer service standards. Oversees the data collection, identification, and analysis of non-compliance and patient issues. Develops and implements plans to address any issues. Implements forecasting models to meet volume expectations and ensure adequate staffing. Develop and implement quality improvement and process reengineering programs to achieve greater efficiencies and profitability. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring all quality standards. Investigates, analyzes, resolves or escalates patient issues and effectively communicates this to leadership. Effectively communicates and oversees the resolution of critical issues satisfactorily. 30%
- Ensure compliance with Illinois Nurse Practice Act, and those set by governmental agencies and industry standards as well as EHMG policies and procedures. 5%
- Provides leadership, mentoring and management of direct reports. Performs direct reports performance reviews and manages their developmental plan. Validates front-line staff reviews and development plans prepared by the management team. 5%
- Collaborates with ANC managers, clinicians and interdisciplinary teams fostering open dialogue for the safe provision of patient care. 5%
- Other duties as assigned by ANC leadership
