Responsibilities
Old Vineyard Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Business Development to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! At Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, we are helping to create brighter, healthier futures for our patients and their families. We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community. Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We are passionate about our work and are looking for individuals who share in this passion. We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with referral sources, community partners, providers, OV staff, patients, and their families. Must work well under pressure with several competing priorities and maintain professionalism at all times. Position involves frequent local and out-of-town (in-state) travel. What does the Director, Business Development do at Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services? The Director of Business Development (DBD) oversees the hospital's strategic marketing plan. Through various mediums, the DBD is responsible for enhancing the facilities brand/image. As the department director, the DBD oversees the management all sales activities and business development initiatives, as well as business development staff. The DBD mantains an active and productive working relationship with external referral sources, community partners, and internal departments/staff using these relationships to respond proactively to service issues, community needs, and/or potential problems. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in a business administration, marketing, or related field required. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Three (3) years' experience in a healthcare business development leadership role to include responsibility for community education/business development resulting in measurable positive results. Three (3) years' experience in people management. Candidates with detailed knowledge of psychiatric and checmical dependency treatment principles highly preferred. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within the behavioral healthcare setting strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record.
