Job Description

You Will:
* Work independently or in conjunction with a Construction Supervisor.
* Assist with project estimates, designs, plans and the pre-approval of daily work.
* Assist in the oversight of contractors and Company personnel during all phases of construction, including, but not limited to, job site mobilization and traffic control; excavation and shoring; pipeline padding and capping; plastic fusion and welding; coating and holiday detection; pipeline installation; pressure testing; pigging; tie-ins; purging; backfilling and restoration; and job site demobilization.
* Obtain the necessary information to approve field changes and authorize/approve all contractor invoices.
* Ensure safe and reliable expansion and replacement construction of the piping system.
* Ensure sound implementation of Company's policies and procedures and recommends changes as needed.
* Ensure compliance with budgetary limitations.
* Ensure full compliance by contractors and Company personnel with existing and future governmental codes and regulations, statutory requirements and contractual requirements.
* Ensure projects are completed within budget and cost variances are justified.
* Ensure maximum satisfaction of both new and existing customers and their requirements.
* Interact with other team members in order to design, plan, construct and install projects in a cost-effective manner in compliance with federal, state and local codes, other legal and contractual requirements, consistent with Corporate and business unit goals, objectives, policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other business units to achieve Corporate, business unit and project team goals.
* Shadow Construction Supervisors to gain exposure to field situations in a controlled environment.
* Interact with contractors and Company personnel to immediately correct/address an unsafe condition.
* Access, extract and research data to develop and deliver reports, and maintain records in the Work Management Information System (WMIS) or other Company systems and records.
* Communicate information and opportunities for reduction of risk or cost to the Company by collecting and tracking data.

You Have:
* H.S. Diploma required
* 0-2 Years Construction-related field. required
* Driver's License
* Experience in underground infrastructure construction, construction management, construction project management, or as a construction team lead preferred.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work with people, reconciling conflicting goals and priorities and leading projects to completion.
* Working knowledge of natural gas pipeline construction, operations and related federal, state and local regulatory requirements preferred.
* Working knowledge of and/or experience with project management preferred.
* Proven ability to perform basic math with percentages and decimals.
* Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret plans/blueprints, understand contracts and working arrangements with business partners preferred
* Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, for data management, research, analysis and reporting purposes.
* Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors and peers.
* Ability to use own reliable transportation capable of carrying tools and equipment as needed to carry out job responsibilities.

We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $90,500 USD annually, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
