Position Summary We are proud to partner with the DoD SkillBridge program to offer transitioning service members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through an internship in the role of Security Assistant 2. The Level 2 Security Assistant is responsible for processing background check requests for potential sponsors of unaccompanied children. They receive background check requests (both fingerprint and child abuse and neglect), work with respective federal or state agencies to compile existing information. Coordination of the delivery of that information to the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) or ACF designee. They are responsible for timely email request responses and coordination, as well as evaluating various database searches for potential sponsor information. Senior Case Management Specialists are expected to serve in an advisory capacity to the Junior Case Management Specialists based on their additional experience. Key Responsibilities
