Staff Engineer II - Full Stack .NET Developer

Location:

What you'll do:

Looking for an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both front and back-end development, focusing on the .NET framework (including C# and ASP.NET) and expertise in database development with SQL Server. This person will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using the .NET framework and SQL Server.
  • Create responsive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop and maintain APIs.
  • Design, implement, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous. improvement of development practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Design application performance monitoring metrics.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures, while ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for incidents to identify and address underlying issues.

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on the .NET framework.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required.
  • Expertise in C# and ASP.NET.
  • Strong experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, Typescript, Rest, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Expert-level SQL Server skills.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Experience with source code version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with CI/CD pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps.
  • Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
