Engineer Senior/Specialist -Test Equipment Development
Overview The COLUMBIA Class Test Equipment Development group provides engineering support for the test programs supporting ships systems pertaining to Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work with Design and Materials group to develop (or revise existing) Engineered Drawings that meet test procedure or ship's system requirements. Drawing development may require interface with system engineers, EB Trades, Vendors, Purchasing, Program Office, and Ship's Management.
The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, welcomes constant interaction with the trades and STO, and is eager to learn more about the submarines that are being built. Qualifications Required:
