Job Description

Job Purpose
Ensure that processes needed for the Quality Management System (QMS) are established, implemented and maintained. This person will be a key stakeholder in maintaining a harmonized ISO9000 quality system.
The quality manager will champion, support and lead product and process quality improvement initiatives. He or she is responsible for ensuring that all functional managers, process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their functional responsibilities in compliance with Corporate and ISO 9001 Quality management system (QMS) requirements.
This role will focus on Customer focused Quality and ensuring industry standard best practices across functional domains. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of a continuous improvement and customer-focused Quality culture within the organization.
Key Interfaces: Operations Team, Project Managers, Sales and Marketing Team, Suppliers, Upper THI management.

Key Tasks:
* Integral involvement in sustaining a ISO9000 certification.
* Report to top management on the performance of the product quality, process quality Metrics and Key performance indicators to comply with QMS and take relevant actions for improvement
* Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization
* Liaise with the external assessment bodies on all matters related to the external accreditation process
* Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
* Working with supply chain (purchasing staff) to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with national and international standards
* Establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply
* Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
* Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures
* Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications and Internal CAPA Standard operating process.
* Establishing standards of service for customers or clients
* Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports

* Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company's Management team (Member of Management Team)
* Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
* Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters
* Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary
* Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks
* Writing technical and management systems reports
* Bringing together cross functional team and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree to comprehensive quality procedures
* Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods
* Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems as defined by the THI Leadership Team to meet QA/QC and ISO requirements.
* Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues

Preferred Education and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 5 years' experience or Associates degree in Engineering with 10 Years of experience or 10 years quality experience in a machine shop environment.
* Experience in machine shop practice and theory specific to contract/job shop machining in the oil and gas industry
