Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Market Access- National Accounts will be instrumental in driving growth for Nestle Health Science by establishing and managing strategic partnerships with national payers and service providers. This role focuses on creating value-based nutrition solutions for the Medicare Advantage population, offering a unique opportunity to shape a new position in an emerging channel.

Reporting to the Director of Market Access, the successful candidate will leverage innovative digital tools and data analytics to enhance program delivery and effectiveness. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, they will align strategies with business objectives, continuously optimizing outcomes and ensuring our programs lead industry standards. This role is critical in positioning our portfolio of evidence-based nutrition solutions for maximum impact and success.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate executive level relationships with key payer and service provider accounts
  • Manage complex, multi-site customer needs and develop long term strategic plans for key accounts
  • Negotiate enterprise-wide agreements to drive growth and expand access to medical nutrition especially in the Medicare Advantage space
  • Gain alignment among internal stakeholders on customer specific strategies
  • Build and maintain robust pipeline of opportunities and build solutions that leverages across the US NHS portfolio of products
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand market share
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, legal/compliance and medical affairs to align strategies with business goals
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, payer policies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats
  • Regularly monitor and analyze account performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years in healthcare business to business sales with at least five years in national or strategic account management
  • 7+ years of experience in market access, payer relations, or healthcare business development
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing market access strategies
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Strong understanding of payer landscape and reimbursement processes, including Medicare Advantage and value based care
  • Travel : 30%

The approximate pay range for this position is $200,000- $220,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
