Kao USA is looking for a HRIS (Workday) Manager to join the Total Rewards team. You will report to the Director of Total Rewards and will lead the Workday team and business colleagues to understand their needs, analyzing current system capabilities and gaps, and implementing solutions that meet business goals.

The HRIS Manager is an important member of the Total Rewards Department working across the Americas and EMEA regions. You will support Kao's shared services team within the areas of recruiting, onboarding, talent management, benefits, payroll, compensation, time tracking, and absence management as it relates to system management.

You will work across Human Capital Development to help drive continuous improvements and lead strategic projects.

What You Will Do:



  • Define and own the long-term Workday HCM product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and Human Capital Development priorities.
  • Lead the configuration of Workday HCM modules, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for security, administration, maintenance, configuration, new releases, reporting and business process management including writing condition rules for Kao's Human Resources Information Systems across multiple countries and separate companies including the United States, Canada, Australia and EMEA regions.
  • Develop HRIS Analyst, providing coaching, performance and feedback.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, business process owners, and cross functional teams to understand needs and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Manage partnerships with senior leaders at multiple departments to support their processes in Workday.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance system efficiency and employee experience (e.g., implementations and upgrades for other HR systems such as Greenhouse, SAP HOPE, ADP SmartCompliance).
  • Oversee the delivery of Workday configuration projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with Human Capital Development teams, such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Talent to enhance processes through technology and innovation.
  • Act in a lead role with external third party vendors to manage and direct work and resolve issues by defining requirements, testing and implementing fixes and enhancements.


What You Will Need



  • University Degree in a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS Human Resources, with 3-5 years leading the HRIS function and team.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' Workday experience.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent time and project management skills with proven organizational and multi-tasking proficiency
  • Project management expertise, including cross-functional influence.
