Vaco has an immediate need for a Mailroom Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This is fully onsite with an estimated contract length of 2-4 months. Primary Purpose: The Senior Mailroom Coordinator is responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail and UPS shipments. The Senior Mailroom Coordinator maintains files, orders, organizes, and distributes the inventory of office supplies and operates basic office equipment. Key Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments for field sales trade shows, industry events, and mass UPS and USPS mailings. Receive and process incoming shipments, including verifying the accuracy of the shipment contents and recording incoming inventory. Navigate the mailing & shipping software programs to process outgoing USPS, UPS, & FedEx mail, and parcels shipments efficiently and effectively. Run daily reports, retrieve data regarding previous shipments, void shipments, and system troubleshooting. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies. Communicate with carriers to ensure timely delivery of shipments and resolve any delivery issues. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that materials and products are available when needed. Collaborate with EAS to process consumer and field sales sample orders. Create reports to eliminate duplicate addresses and manage employees in UPS Shipping system. Provide completed documentation for shipping and tracking. Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with all safety procedures and regulations. Qualifications: ??????? At least 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field. Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations. Ability to accurately process and record inventory data. Able to help customers with boxing and packaging their materials. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and computing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Able to operate a wide variety of business shipping equipment, i.e., Pitney Bowes Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
