The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for developing, activating and optimizing automation processes, analytics and technology stack assets to support the marketing team and ensure the achievement of desired KPIs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advances campaign automation routines, analytical views, dashboards, and assets on the marketing automation stack.
  • Optimizes the marketing automation stack and sales CRM connectivity by driving new insights, data sets, views and trigger activities.
  • Technical subject matter expert of the sales CRM campaign and integrated marketing automation environments.
  • Partners with sales CRM administrators to build appropriate applications and views for maximum visibility of marketing activities and returns.
  • Works as partner and liaison to provide guidance to partner agencies, internal analytical units, and marketing managers so as to optimize content for the following:
    • Core site
    • Email
    • Landing pages
    • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    • Onsite and offsite content
    • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
    • Keywords
    • Sales environments; Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Focuses on key areas for improvement in analytical outcomes as it relates to pixel/tag and tracking environments.
  • Involved in use-case testing new technologies, apps to seek applicability for the business.
  • Consults on optimal user experience and customer journey maps to guide the build of the campaign/process.
  • Seeks to understand website organic value and optimize paths to purchase.
  • Works with other marketing automation stack members to serve in capacity as lead marketing data steward.
  • Regularly provides insights and dashboard views to drive learnings and increasing pull-thru of marketing qualified leads.
  • Works with marketing managers and other marketing automation stack members to identify positive trends, gaps and benchmarking to gauge success.
  • Focuses on advanced digital functions of the marketing automation stack such as:
    • Tracking activities
    • Content optimization
    • UX and A/B testing
    • Workflow automations
  • Dynamic knowledge of market developments and changes.
  • Active participant in the development of automation stack roadmap items and subsequent build out plans.
  • Works with other business units and external partners to activate new approaches and applications to traditional campaign management on the marketing automation stack.
  • Aids in maintaining operational structures and processes in the marketing automation stack.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role with focus on digital marketing and analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • MBA or Degree in Business, Decision Sciences, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as, use of digitally-focused marketing analytics tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, BrightEdge, Tableau, Domo, Omniture, Marketo, etc.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry preferred. (Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming, etc.)
  • Previous use of predictive lead scoring preferred.
  • Experience with sales CRM environments and campaign functions preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or HubSpot strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of current web development processes and SEO fundamentals preferred

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate a keyboard if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required performing the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
