Position Highlights:



  • Per diem role. Position is required to cover weekends and can also cover some weekdays
  • minimum of 4 shifts per month (12 hour shifts)
  • 95% work from home, all equipment provided
  • Telecommute post training (1 week of onsite training at El Segundo)
  • Receive escalated overnight calls from nurse triage
  • Support after-hours assignments and tasks for sites located across Southern California
  • tech savvy, utilize multiple EMRs (Touchworks, Epic, NextGen)
  • Tele-med acute care phone and video visits
  • Option to work more hours if desired

Required Qualifications:



  • Master's degree (MSN) and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is required
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine or ambulatory care setting
  • An unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Ability to successfully qualify for and obtain unrestricted CA state licensure throughout the defined platform is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ESI (Emergency Severity Index) certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bilingual Spanish speaking
  • 1+ year experience working in primary care or urgent care



Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $104,500 - $156,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
