Job Summary The Analyst II, Technical Operations is responsible for training on advanced technical troubleshooting, developing and maintaining Sight & Sound processes, and resolving escalated technical issues. This role also supports front-line technical operations and drives process improvements through analysis, documentation, and knowledge sharing. This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation. What you will be doing:
- Provide level II and front-line technical and operational support through phone, email, and the Sight & Sound ticketing system.
- Resolve escalated operational and technical issues, providing expert troubleshooting and guidance.
- Coach and train team members to address knowledge gaps and enhance problem-solving skills.
- Analyze support requests and reports to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enhance troubleshooting methods.
- Complete assigned project-related responsibilities, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Develop, refine, and maintain Sight & Sound processes, including knowledge base documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for the Technical Support Center team and field associates.
What we need from you:
- 2+ years of digital cinema technical experience through either hands-on or remote resolution.
- 2+ years of customer support or service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide consistent coaching and development to the team when handling higher-level issues, ensuring they feel valued while achieving results.
- Delivers clear, accurate technical documentation and communicates effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve projection and audio equipment failures at an expert level.
What we also value (preferred):
- Creative problem-solving.
- Networking and/or programming experience.
- Industry-specific training with Cinionic Laser, IMAX and/or Christie equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of key digital cinema components such as projection, audio, and media servers, from both an operational and technical perspective.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in Arts Alliance Media's Screenwriter software.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of content specifications, lifecycle, and potential challenges.
Minimum qualifications:
