Summary of Position Functions The Electrical Division Manager is responsible for developing and leading electrical division in Texas, focusing on strategic growth, cost optimization, and high-quality project execution. This role oversees all aspects of electrical projects-from estimation and planning to installation and delivery-ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Utilizing tools like Accubid and collaborating with sales and operations teams, the manager drives cost-effective solutions, process improvements, and operational efficiency. Additionally, they provide technical guidance, enforce safety compliance, promote best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, while staying current with industry trends and innovations to support long-term success. Essential Position Functions
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the establishment and growth of the electrical division within the company, with a focus on driving down costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including estimation, planning, execution, and delivery, with an emphasis on optimizing costs without compromising safety or quality.
- Oversee and coordinate electrical installation crews, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications, while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Estimate electrical work accurately using Accubid estimating software or other approved estimating methods, considering project requirements, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, and identifying opportunities to optimize costs through efficient resource allocation and procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new electrical project opportunities, with a focus on developing cost-effective solutions that meet client needs.
- Establish and promote best practices for electrical installations, ensuring that industry-leading techniques, methodologies, and technologies are employed to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize project outcomes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the electrical installation crews, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during project execution, while actively seeking innovative solutions to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the electrical division, fostering an environment where employees are encouraged to contribute ideas, share insights, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards, while actively seeking opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs associated with safety measures.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project success, customer satisfaction, and collaborative cost-saving efforts.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical installations, with a focus on identifying and implementing cost-effective solutions that align with the company's goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise employees in the Electrical Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Veregy's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

- Proven experience as an electrician.
- Minimum 10 years' hands on electrical experience.
- Extensive experience in project management including successful delivery of electrical project within budget and schedule.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, lighting, solar installations, EV charging stations and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in using Accubid or similar estimating software.
- Demonstrated leaderships skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Journeyman Electrician.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of Veregy's services and processes is required which can be obtained through intellect, technical inclination, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
- Knowledge (Intermediate to advanced) of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, etc.), is required.
