Procurement Specialist

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

SUMMARY The Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading and procuring a wide range of supplies, equipment, materials, and services in a service-oriented, yet authoritative and professional manner; consistent with group purchasing and other contracts, cost containment goals, and continuous quality improvements. Daily transactions include order entry, placement, confirmation, and expediting; EDI, GHX transactions,s and accounts payable interface for invoice resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering with one year of procurement experience or an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience in procurement.
• Knowledge of requisition policies and procedures.
• Must be computer literate and know computerized spreadsheets, word processing, and database management
