Hourly Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules]

Position Summary:

The Research Coordinator will help support multiple clinical research trials, working closely with physician researchers, the research team, a diverse patient population and different sponsors.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and assist with multiple research studies, primarily in the areas of neurology and neuro-oncology, but also may be involved with neurosurgery and psychiatry research
  • Prepare site for conducting the study, including assisting PIs with feasibility assessments
  • Review & prepare submissions and correspondence with the Endeavor IRB and Central IRBs (initial submission, protocol amendments, adverse events, yearly progress reports, etc.)
  • Maintain regulatory documents as per sponsor, IRB and Endeavor Health policies and requirements
  • Screen subjects for eligibility
  • Responsible for recruitment, coordination of study visits, procedures and assessments (in compliance with study protocol), and retention of research subjects
  • Participate in, and/or conduct the Informed Consent process
  • Complete study activities as dictated by research protocols, including face to face and telephone visits, assessments, and medical records abstraction
  • Responsible for specimen collection including phlebotomy, processing, and shipping
  • Coordinate & schedule appointments for diagnostic tests & procedures associated with study protocols
  • Ensure that study documentation, including in the EMR and case report forms is accurate, complete, current, and filed/submitted within study-required timelines
  • Complete study startup and close-out activities
  • Work with PIs on assigned studies to identify potential subjects and maximize enrollment of potential study participants

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Certification: CCRP (or similar) preferred
  • Experience: At least 2 years experience coordinating clinical trials
  • Skills: Phlebotomy skills highly preferred (phlebotomy skills will be required as part of the job). Effective written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, commitment to producing high quality work. Highly compliant with respect to research policies and procedures
