Position Overview: Desktop/Endpoint Engineer - Azure/M365 Focus We're seeking a seasoned Desktop/Endpoint Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies and cloud environments. This role will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the Bank's Azure and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, with a focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities * Lead the design and deployment of Azure and AVD solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. * Implement monitoring and analytics tools to assess system health and enhance end-user satisfaction. * Manage application packaging and desktop image deployment, with a focus on security, compatibility, and timely updates. * Evaluate cost-saving opportunities through vendor insights and usage analysis; support leadership with ROI assessments. * Administer Microsoft licensing and M365 tools including Intune, SharePoint Online, Exchange, and OneDrive. * Develop automation strategies to streamline operations and reduce risk. * Oversee technical project execution, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. * Mentor junior engineers, delegate tasks, and review deliverables for quality assurance. * Plan and prioritize infrastructure changes to minimize disruption to users. * Align technical initiatives with organizational goals, compliance standards, and industry best practices. * Represent the engineering team in cross-functional planning and design sessions involving Microsoft technologies and desktop solutions. Required Skills * Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop/endpoint engineering. * Proficiency in configuring and managing the Microsoft 365 suite. * Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop. * Strong background in Azure-centric environments. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
