ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.
1. Serves as liaison between programs/departments/committees and family partners and as a consultant in providing patient and family perspectives both directly and through the recruitment and appointment of family partners on committees and projects
2. Identifies opportunities for family partnerships and develops recruitment strategies to increase family engagement
3. Partners with leaders in Quality/Patient Safety, Clinical Effectiveness, Process Improvement, Project Management and Patient Care Services to ensure that family voice is represented as programs and initiatives are developed or reevaluated
4. Researches family engagement issues impacting CHCO and provides recommendations on how to achieve specific objectives
5. Shares CHCO's patient- and family-centered care programs initiatives internally and externally
6. Participates in meetings and serves on committees to provide direction and expertise in planning, decision making, and organizational change initiatives related to patient and family engagement and experience
7. Serves as a resource to staff regarding the principles of patient- and family-centered care and promotes best practices to successfully engage patients and families
8. Coordinates CHCO's online family advisory committee, The Table, which includes serving as a liaison to the vendor (MyTake), coordinating with team members to develop surveys/activities, recruitment and retention of members, and dissemination of key findings from The Table
9. Coordinates and organizes Family Centered Care Council
10. Champions initiatives aimed at strengthening the patient and family engagement culture
11. Provides consultation on policies, programs, and facility design that support patient- and family-centered care principles and family engagement
Minimum Qualifications
- Degrees
- Bachelor's degree in business management, political science, advocacy or other related field.

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $53,194.93 to $79,792.39
