Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:



  • Perform weekly inventory review and identify parts requiring resupply.
  • Issue PO's as necessary and place with respective vendors.
  • Perform periodic Store Cycle Counts.
  • Adjust Min/Max levels as necessary based on demand.
  • Manage, and maintain stock levels for all required MRO materials including cores, pallets, safety equipment etc.
  • Oversee and manage Plant Store utilizing Maintemizer.
  • Run Maintemizer reports on maintenance repair logs, etc.
  • Monitor Prism time charges to validate accuracy of data.
  • Zero stockouts for standard Store items.
  • Reduction in "office" time for Supervisors developing numbers.
  • Review and analyze incoming work requests for clarity and completeness.
  • Create accurate and comprehensive work orders with clear instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Maintain and update the Maintimizer with relevant information.
  • Track the status of work orders and follow up on any delays or issues.
  • Close out completed work orders, ensuring proper documentation of work performed, parts used, and any findings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance scheduling inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance technicians, operations personnel, and other departments regarding planned work.
  • Facilitate pre-job briefings to ensure all parties understand the scope of work, safety procedures, and expectations.
  • Participate in regular maintenance meetings to discuss upcoming work and potential issues.
  • Track key maintenance metrics (e.g., schedule adherence, downtime, work order completion rates).
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement in planning and scheduling processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in maintenance planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of planned and completed maintenance activities.
  • Generate reports on maintenance schedules, work order status, and performance metrics as required.



Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:



  • Basic knowledge of Prism ERP System.
  • 2+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment in production, production control or related functions.
  • Experience in a lean environment with pull systems and kanbans.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices (preventive, predictive, corrective).
  • Proficiency in using Maintimizer.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment and systems relevant to the Industrial Coating equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to maintenance activities.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to push/pull tool carts.
