A Taste of What You'll Do

In this role, you will provide superior customer service and engagement, ensuring effective representation of our brand while building lasting relationships with our valued members.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the integrity of our extensive member database, proactively driving club acquisition, retention, and fulfilling special requests. You'll keep member records updated through various communication channels, ensuring a seamless experience for all. With a deep knowledge of our product portfolio, you will process orders efficiently, ensuring they are error-free and comply with shipping regulations. You will track and resolve delivery issues, following up with customers to prevent returns and refunds, always aiming to provide a joyful wine experience.

As a vital part of our team, you'll act as a guest concierge, offering local directions and insights into attractions, as well as internal experiences at our winery locations. Your superior customer service skills will shine as you handle a high volume of calls and execute outbound campaigns to maintain brand loyalty.

Additionally, you'll stay informed on current marketing promotions and events, supporting ticket sales and providing physical event assistance during member-only gatherings. You'll have a comprehensive understanding of tasting experiences at all winery locations, offering alternative options when needed and ensuring guests have a memorable visit.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of retail sales, hospitality, sales support, marketing support, administrative support, or customer service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associates Degree plus 1 year of retail sales, hospitality, sales support, marketing support, administrative support or customer service experience; OR Bachelor's Degree plus retail sales, hospitality, sales support, marketing support, administrative support or customer service experience.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Outlook at an intermediate level.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to lift and move cases of product weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Required to be legal US drinking age: 21 years of age or older
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year of retail sales, hospitality, sales support, marketing support, administrative support or customer service experience.
  • Wine sales or Wine club administration experience.
  • Wine Industry knowledge.
  • Experience with software programs such as Ship Compliant, Wine Club Manager, E-Winery Solutions Ellipsis or member databases/related systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience with applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form. Experience with dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
