Staffmark is hiring an Operator to support casting and alloy operations in Moraine, OH. This role involves working with induction furnaces, analyzing alloy compositions, and ensuring material blends meet exact customer specifications. Full training is provided.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Mix steel and alloy combinations per customer specifications
  • Sequence alloy melts to reduce impurities and optimize furnace performance
  • Inspect furnaces daily and assist with repairs as needed
  • Operate induction furnace and mass spectrometer (training provided)
  • Maintain documentation including alloy inventory, remelt tags, and furnace logs
  • Organize materials and maintain clean work areas
  • Follow and promote all safety procedures and policies



Qualifications:



  • Strong math skills (able to calculate weight ratios in pounds)
  • Understanding of steel alloy melting processes
  • High attention to detail with a strong safety mindset
  • Mechanically inclined with good technical skills
  • Team-oriented with leadership potential
  • Dependable and punctual with a solid attendance record
