The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Compliance and Vendor Performance Manager to oversee key service contracts under the Vice President for Facilities. This role ensures vendor compliance and service quality across all ERAU residential campuses and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor contracts for services including housekeeping, bookstore, pest control, and waste management.

  • Support additional Facilities Management contracts (e.g., elevators, fire safety, copiers).

  • Evaluate vendor performance, ensure contract compliance, and provide feedback for improvement.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Track contract terms, renewals, costs, and scope of services.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate efforts across all ERAU locations.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Strong skills in grammar, spelling, basic composition, and math.

Area of Concentration:

  • Experience with a variety of service contracts (e.g., Housekeeping, Bookstore, Waste Management).

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related work experience in contract management, vendor oversight, or facilities operations.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Workday and AssetWorks systems.

  • Understanding of contract terms and compliance practices.

  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) are a plus.

  • Knowledge of cleaning standards such as APPA and/or ISSA is desirable.

Other:

  • Occasional out of state travel is required (up to once per month).
  • Position is an in-office position and may be based out of Daytona Beach, FL or Prescott, AZ.
