What to Expect
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team at Tesla. In the Sr. Technical Program Manager, Remote Repairs and Processes role, you will be responsible for owning and optimizing remote service activities within the Industrial Storage fleet. The successful candidate will maintain high standards for process additions, prioritize activities to align with organizational goals, and drive efficiencies in remote repairs, acting as a key liaison between Operations teams and cross-functional partners for successfulchange management.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the keeper of a prioritized list of activities requiring support from other teams (e.g., Service Engineering, Project Engineering, or Product Management) to resolve issues, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to achieve resolutions
- Be responsible for all remote service processes, managing changes while holding high standards and ensuring they align with company goals
- Develop methods of remote service activities prioritization based on organizational objectives, balancing fleet-wide needs with daily operations in Industrial Storage
- Drive high-impact goals in remote repairs, improving overall efficiency of remote support workflows while supporting high growth rates of operating fleet
- Improve key performance metrics through process optimization, elimination of redundancies, or identification of new opportunities for remote repairs
- Clean and manage the backlog of invalid open activities, evaluating their relevance and processing them to maintain operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or a related field, with a strong focus on process optimization and remote service activities in energy or technical environments
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve program goals
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting issues on large-scale batteries and power plants, including remote engineering support
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex information and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
