Cox Automotive is currently looking for a Social Media Producer to join our team. This is a remote, work-from-home position. The Role: We're building the future of automotive journalism - and social media is our front line. As a Social Media Producer, you'll help shape how millions discover, engage with, and trust our content. In this role, the Producer will draft compelling posts across platforms, blending visual elements, quick turn writing, and trend awareness to boost visibility and engagement. The Producer will work closely with creative and editorial teams to ensure every piece of content is timely, relevant, and performance driven. Ideal candidates bring a mix of digital fluency, storytelling ability, and a proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement though data, experimentation, and collaboration. Multimedia-First: Every story is visual, interactive, and dynamic. Responsibilities: Grow Our Audience Build and engage social communities across platforms. Use all available tools to plan, publish, and optimize content. Collaborate with editors, designers, and video producers. Create Impactful Content Produce multimedia-first posts (video, visuals, interactivity). Write with clarity, speed, and impact. Stay ahead of trends and platform updates. Own the Outcome Track performance and iterate fast. Suggest ways to reduce content cycle time. Create content that drives audience growth. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field. Strong writing and visual storytelling skills. Familiarity with AI tools, social media tools, and analytics platforms. Passion for innovation and the automotive space. Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset. Experience building a following on social media. Foundational skills in analytical thinking, consulting, data gathering and reporting, effective presentations and managing multiple priorities. Foundational skills in collaborating with intent, driving innovation, engaging others, focusing on execution and striving for excellence. Ability to travel up to 50%, which may include international destinations. USD 54,200.00 - 81,400.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $54,200.00 - $81,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
