We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Hardware Support Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in technical support, IT helpdesk operations, and laptop imaging and software maintenance. This position requires familiarity with Panasonic CF-33 Toughbook computers and associated peripherals and software integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs of Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 computers, including support equipment, docking equipment, and power supply/wiring.
  • Perform and verify computer imaging and updates of Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 computers using mobile device management and content filtering software.
  • Coordinate and manage Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 computer inventory, including asset identification/tracking, device collection/distribution, device return/replacement, and loss prevention.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware/software-related issues including working with mobile device management and content filtering software products.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users to understand their technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support activities, including imaging, software installations, and troubleshooting steps. Document fixes and maintains FAQs to assist with future support requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective hardware support operations.
  • May work in a non-traditional office environment such as in mobile command posts, outdoor special events, and/or satellite stations.


Qualifications:

  • The ability to work at times, with little or no direction in a high-performance, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using imaging tools and software, knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, and familiarity with common office software applications.
  • Experience with mobile device management, content filtering software, computer imaging and updating, and other device management functions.
  • Experience with asset identification/tracking/management, and loss prevention methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to be productive in high-pressure situations.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred. And/or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a similar role.
