For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

Are you a strategic change leader with experience transforming operations at scale? We're looking for a dynamic Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Operations Optimization to lead enterprise-wide operational excellence. Reporting to the EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, you will partner with senior leaders across the university to assess macro-level processes, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead a strategic roadmap that aligns people, process, and technology to accelerate scalability and support our mission.

What you'll do:

Strategic Planning & Assessment

  • Lead assessment of enterprise-wide processes to identify transformation opportunities through reengineering, automation, and AI.

  • Develop a data-driven prioritization framework and roadmap aligned with strategic goals.

  • Apply financial knowledge to evaluate ROI and guide resource allocation.

Execution & Optimization

  • Design and implement cross-functional strategies to streamline operations, improve performance, and reduce costs.

  • Facilitate alignment from leadership vision through implementation and sustained adoption.

  • Partner with IT to implement scalable technologies and automation.

  • Recommend resource and technology shifts to reduce friction and boost efficiency.

Governance & Capability Alignment

  • Ensure initiatives align with governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with HR and functional leaders to support talent and capability development strategies.

Change Leadership

  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation through change leadership.

  • Deliver data-driven, evidence-based insights to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.

  • Promote and embed EDI principles into operational design strategies.

Stakeholder Experience & Influence

  • Design optimization efforts to improve customer and stakeholder experience, satisfaction, and outcomes.

  • Advise executive leadership with data insights, KPIs, and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise operations, process optimization, technology enablement, or large-scale transformation.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale process optimization and cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on actionable outcomes.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder partnership.

  • High level of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.

  • Proven ability to drive change and deliver measurable business results.

  • Critical key competencies include critical thinking, systems thinking, drive for results, collaborative leadership, project management, and change management.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $121,649.00 - $194,676.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $134,423.00 - $181,867.00.
