Job Summary

You will leverage your electrical wiring and assembly skills to build and modify test fixtures, harnesses, and automated test equipment. You will work closely with our test engineering team to translate designs into functional test solutions that ensure the quality of our products.

Primary Responsibilities

* Fixture & Equipment Assembly:
Build, wire, and assemble new test fixtures, harnesses, and test equipment from engineering schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

* Reading & Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams to ensure correct assembly.

* Wiring & Soldering: Perform point-to-point wiring, harness routing, and component installation. Conduct high-quality soldering and crimping of wires and connectors.

* Maintenance & Calibration: Perform routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of existing test fixtures and equipment.

* Collaboration: Work closely with electrical test engineers to provide feedback on designs, troubleshoot issues, and assist in validating new test equipment.

* Component Installation: Install and mount a wide variety of electrical components (e.g., terminal blocks, circuit breakers, fuses, relays, sensors) onto panels and enclosures.

* Quality & Safety: Conduct visual inspections and continuity checks to ensure the quality of your work. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Basic Qualifications

* Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical school certification or an associate degree in a related field is a strong plus.

* Experience: 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly, panel building, or a similar role, with direct experience in building test fixtures or equipment.

* Technical Skills:

o Proven ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

o Expertise with hand tools and power tools used in electrical assembly, including multimeters, soldering irons, and crimping tools.

o Strong understanding of electrical wiring principles and color codes.

* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.

* Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and correcting wiring errors and assembly issues.
