JOB OVERVIEW:

*Must be able to work early morning shifts on Sundays, 3:45am start time* - Other shifts are flexible based on needs of the hotel

*Must have a clean driving record for 3 years previous to hire, and must maintain a clear driving record during employment*

Drives company van to transport guests by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Drives vehicle to destinations according to assigned schedule.
  • Assists passengers into and out of vehicle.
  • Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report status of service.
  • Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • Responsible for ensuring guest are greeted and luggage is tended to when not driving.
  • Responsible for ensuring front entrance is free of trash and trash is emptied.
  • Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Passing the MVR is mandatory (no accidents and tickets for the past three years).


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.

Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:



  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
