Brief Summary of Work for this Position
This position will be responsible for providing a variety of business and fiscal functions to manage grant operations. This position will be assigned a portfolio of grants to manage. The position will support faculty through the pre-award process including building and budgeting proposals, progress reports and other support, working closely with UNCW Sponsored Programs. This position will support faculty through the post award process including human resources, purchasing, sub award management, tuition awards, and travel. The position will also establish tracking systems and monitor spending for salary, sub awards and other grant expenditures, prepare financial/budget reports and project grant spending.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
